Course Map

Race Pattern

Crews will race towards the finish line which is near the launching area. The course will be marked by five buoy lines between lanes 1&2, 2&3, 3&4, 4&5, and 5&6. The first 100m will be marked by red buoys. The main body of the race course will be marked with white buoys. The last 250m will be marked red buoys. There will be additional large marker buoys for each lane at each 500m interval.

Off-Limits Area

There is a shallow inlet near the north shore at the start line. This inlet has many rocks and tree branches that pose a danger to shells. Crews must avoid this area marked in red in the above map.
